SR. BUSINESS APPLICATION DEVELOPER

Development & Deployment

  • Design applications that deliver requested functionality.
  • Write program code to create applications for requested projects.
  • Create test plans, test cases and test scripts.
  • Conduct quality control tests to ensure integrity, reliability and validity.
  • Prepare field pilots of application changes.
  • Work toward learning the store application.
  • Work with the business units to identify business requirements for requested projects.
  • Research and identify the technical requirements of projects.
  • Plan and organize tasks, report on project progress, coordinate with additional development teams.

Operational Management

  • Monitor pilot results.
  • Prepare instructions and operation procedures for production system implementation
  • Implement requested projects.
  • Work on centralized systems and applications that provide support to the in-store system.
  • Provide on-going application support in the areas of both end-user problem resolution and production system operation.

Requirement

  • Bachelor degree or foreign equivalent in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • years IT experience.
  • years of experience in planning and execution of IT life-cycle development.
  • year Relational Database experience such as MS SQL Server, IBM DB2, Oracle, MySQL
  • experience developing data driven business software applications.

Preferred Experience, But Not Required

  • Experience with Progress OpenEdge Advanced Business Language
  • Experience with Linux OS, Shell Scripting, C, SQL, Java, JBoss, HTML, XML, JavaScript, Struts and any Web Technologies
