We are looking for a Web Analyst for a long-term client in Northern Virginia.  Reporting into the Marketing organization, this role will support and evolve web strategies that drive optimal usability and overall website experience based on in-depth analysis of information from multiple data sources.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product, UX/Creative and Developer teams on update initiatives, including A/B testing.
  • Develop appropriate tagging strategy for feature releases and product launches.
  • Architect/design analytics requirements for development teams to implement on Web and Mobile Apps.
  • Provide QA checks before releases, including UX effectiveness and analytics implementation.
  • Analyze and communicate the effectiveness of new product launches, site changes, and marketing initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations based on key insights from analysis.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of information from multiple data sources and provide insights on findings.
  • Manage the production and distribution of recurring reporting and analysis.
  • Provide recommendations based on key insights from analysis.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years Google Analytics experience.
  • Google Analytics power user with Google Analytics certification.
  • Experience working with Google Tag Manager.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics a plus.
  • Ability to architect and develop Google Analytics implementation requirements for Developers.
  • Extensive A|B testing experience.
  • Comprehensive QA experience.
  • Highly analytical and detail oriented with both web and business analysis skills.
  • Ability to translate, communicate, and distil metrics into digestible, actionable marketing framework.
  • Functional understanding of Javascript and ability to read standard HTML code.
  • Ability to use metrics to manage programs and measure success.
  • Results oriented and proactive with a strong focus on achieving revenue, conversion, sales and other marketing goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study, MBA or commensurate experience.
